As I recall the search terms of AOL users were famously exposed a couple of years ago.

I got hold of a copy of that while it was in the open. Think that I dumped it in a weekend 'cleanup' at some point. Though a little scary, it was funny as could be. Users weren't identified in any way, but all of their searches were identifiable. It was like following them around inside their mind. You could almost pick out the people that you would not want to know or meet:))
