On a windows machine it still exists, but it's somewhere else. Search for favorites or something. I also occasionally ftp this file to my webserver so I can grab my favorites when I'm gone. Cool, hunh?

which is the html file that explorer uses to make my favorites menu. It's a lot quicker and easier to me than hunting down the favorites popup.
