The car you're suggesting is a toy rather than a means of transport, I prefer a good bike ride to going out in the traffic in a sports car, personally. When I was a kid, I desperately wanted a sports car. Now, they bore me, and I'm too brand-averse to consider such a purchase.
Nothing wrong with a few fun gadgets, and as I mentioned earlier I enjoy riding my bike in the summer. Unfortunately I don't think my legs would be able to manage N Yorks to London in one go! I agree with you about being brand-averse. In fact I'd say that buying a self assembly supercar from a tiny company in deepest Leicestershire that no-one has heard of is probably as brand-averse as you can get. Maybe this is the reason I've driving a VX220 rather than an Elise?
