It seems to have changed for me about the year 2000 or so.

Am I missing something? I thought I could like John Mayer. I bought Continuum, but gave it away because it is just too perfect. It needs some texture to it, some soul. Add a dash of Tracy Chapman maybe.

The only fairly recent popular song that I liked was Bad Day by Daniel Powter.

So, am I getting old or is popular music really just not so good right now?
