So, just supposing some enterprising - er, highly unethical - individual were to get hold of Matt's laptop and auction it off, how much would it bring on, say, Ebay? Perhaps more interestingly, how much would it bring just with a simple note to Larry or Sergey? ;) Honest, I'm not thinking of going into the "iron and steal" business, no matter how well it might pay! ;)
I've read a few blogs over the last year or so that describe some of the things Matt Cutts does on his laptop, having carefully positioned his computer so nobody else can see it while he works his magic. Apparently that laptop is a veritable tool chest of utilities to find out pretty much everything about everyone and his brother, along with a complete arsenal of weapons to nuke them from the SERPS at a single blow.
