You should focus on what interests you the most - what you enjoy doing. As you've obviously been very successfull in business, you could consider going to your local business gateway and offer to help out other companies (or start up companies) that need advice (either paid or unpaid). I'm sure that your depth of advice would be most welcome and useful. If that's not enough of a challenge, and if you have really done well for yourself, why not start to invest in one or two small companies (or ideas) - by supporting new companies/ideas you can help them make contacts, share in any success, offer ongoing advice and create something that you like/enjoy (though there is always risk involved in this). If you really miss normal work then just go back to doing it - perhaps doing a slightly different venture.
