The problem for Australia was not the lack of passion, which they had in abundance but the lack of any finishing prowess in front of goal, but they did give it their all in my view. Perhaps if Kewell had been playing it would have been a different story. The penalty decision was shocking, the Australian's mistake though, as he should not have gone to ground and allowed it to happen. [edited by: Visit_Thailand at 8:02 am (utc) on June 27, 2006]
I think Australia played pretty well, and were lucky not to concede a couple during the match.
