Woke up this morning with a cold. Not too bad but still a cold. Piled into work and noticed water leaking from the radiator on my car. Again, not too bad but a bit annoying. I check my mail and find out that my credit card (now 2 weeks old) has been refused by my broadband provider. I call them up and they say I need to talk to the bank. I phone the bank and they tell me my card has been stopped due to fraudulent activities!

"WHAT!"

Turns out someone has used my card for over 20 internet transactions totalling about £1000. OK, I'm not too worried, at least the bank noticed this for me and stopped my card. I will get the money back but it might take a while. Trouble is I won't get a new card for 5 working days and with easter in the way I won't get it til next friday.

"SWEET!"

I used my original card for 3 years on the web and never got ripped off. 2 weeks into owning my new card and having never used it on the web someone rips me off!

My bank tell me that they might have screwed up and my details have been made publically available.

"THANKS GUYS!"

Anyway, I call my ISP to tell them whats happened and they tell me I've got til wednesday next week to pay or they'll cut me off. HANG ON, I don't get my card til friday and I don't have any other way of paying them. Looks like I'm gonna get cut off.

"EVEN SWEETER!"

Then I get an email from Google telling me my Adwords is suspended because my card has been refused. AAAAGH!
I can't reinstate till I get the new one in over a weeks time.

It is now 1.30pm and I have up for 5 1/2 hours. This has been the worst day of the year so far. I have just returned from the off license (US read Liquor Store) with an expensive bottle of Burgundy and I am taking the rest of the day off.

Thanks for listening and I hope your day turns out better than mine. I'm not looking for sympathy and my life is great in general especially when you consider what some parts of the world are going through.

WHY CAN'T ALL THESE PROBLEMS SPREAD THEMSELVES OUT OVER THE YEAR INSTEAD OF TURNING UP NOW!
