Just thought that before many site owners change their sites that, IMO, it is very possible that your new found success has nothing to do with the change you have made.

As of Saturday, my 10 year old site lost its top 10 rankings on Google (still maintains its top 10 ranking on Yahoo and MSN), therefore my adsense earnings have been cut to 1/3 of my average earnings. My traffic from Google has dropped from 2400 to 100 daily. If you read this thread [http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum30/31280.htm] in "Google Search News" of webmasterworld, you will see that some type of Google "change" has happened in the last few days.

Many sites have been "dropped", which means many other sites might have a new top ranking. You might want to check your stats regarding your traffic from Googles search engine before making code changes, to see if that is the explanation for your new success.
