Blame it too on the success of Adsense itself. Suddenly people meet friends who make 'quick big bucks' just by having a website and putting a little code on it. Suddenly people want to have a website pronto. They make a website and say, "Need to earn from my website now...no time to read the TOS...no time to read the old posts...just have enough time to ask a quick question in webmasterworld..." This phenomenon hasn't peaked yet (and is probably just starting), so expect more newbie questions in the future.

To newbie-phobics out there, be afraid...be very afraid... :)
