Some guy at MIT wrote a site with lots of nice photos about "bonzai kittens", in which I inserted kittens into these twisted four-dimensional containers known as "Klein's bottles".

It became so hugely popular that animal rights activists alerted the authorities, who paid the astonished webmaster a visit to put a stop to his torture of animals.

You see, while mathematicians understand the properties of Klein's bottles in great detail, one cannot actually make one. They require one to make a twist to the neck of the bottle in a direction perpendicular to each of the axes (x, y, z) of our three dimensional space.

One cannot do this in reality of course, only imagination: the photos of stretched and twisted kittens were the products of Photoshop in combination with an overactive imagination.

Now, Bonzai Kittens has been done. What you need to do is fire up your imagination and see what you can accomplish with your HTML and graphic editors.

Maybe, just maybe, if you work real hard and are very lucky, you may receive a stern visit from the legal authorities, with a demand that you put a stop to your work of fiction.
