As for new hobbies, I am constantly reading about new technology and trends -- several hours a day. I also do a little side domain speculation so this pays off.
I created a website for one of my hobbies last year. 2 days all the content was written. The site makes me about $150 a month. Nothing to brag about, but in a way it has established me as an expert in a hobby I love.
