I once had a problem with ads, not entirely removed from what you describe. I contacted Google with an explanation of the problem, not really expecting a solution but anticipating that they might be able to use the information for future improvement of their algorithm. They replied by indicating that they had "recalibrated" my site, and to let them know if the problem recurred. So if I were in your shoes, I would send feedback to AdSense support, just to be sure (a) that the problem isn't at their end (in which case waiting to be spidered again won't be much help), and (b) that the problem is not one subject to immediate correction (in which case waiting for the spider to revisit serves nobody's ends).
