When the visitor goes from SiteA to your site, the browser passes SiteA as the referring URL, when AdSense is called for on your page, the browser sends your page as the referring URL. Yes, you know where your visitors came from, but do you know where they were before that? This has been covered before in previous threads... with the current AdSense script it is impossible from Google to know how the visitor got to your site unless you provide that info. I know where my referrals are coming from , I know where I am sending my visitors too (adsense preview) but yet G dosent know where I got the visitor in the first place? Umm unlikely
From AdSense's point-of-view, your site is the referering URL.
