Is it me....
But, I'm looking at building some niche sites in the UK, after reading the success that Spencer Haws (Niche Pursuits) has with them.
The thing is, I looked at doing this about two years ago and the first page results presented loads of sites that had adsense ads on them. They were also usually .co.uk extensions.
Now, when I check out potential keywords (in google UK) I'm struggling to find any sites with adsense on them apart from the super authority ones like wikihow, squidoo, webmd, hubpages etc.
Has google stopped these 20 page very targeted sort of sites from ranking and therefore displaying ads? I'm not talking about spammy one or two page MFA sites - but real ones with good information that really answer the query?
Or have they got something against these kind of sites and just want adword ads to appear in the search results?
The results in my opinion are now very degraded, at least in the UK - but these are just my observations and I wondered if anyone else especially from the UK were also seeing these trends?
Sorry if this happened months ago, but I'm only just looking at this method in the past week or so.
