I've done my best to make sure my sites follow the TOS. My sites also have huge disclaimers on them. I've made sure the ads are well-placed and tastefully placed and surrounded by content. I've made sure the ads do not look anything like my page or anything on my page. I've taken the ads off of some sites not getting many hits. I have not noticed any weird "hit" anomalies. I've sure as hell never clicked of any of my ads, and certainly not by accident.
Google also verified funds for the previous month of April, though it was under $100. So that's a good sign that something was already verified.
While I've had a nice bit of traffic and good rankings for my sites, and in just a month and a half I've gone from zero hits to an average of about one thousand per day with good click through rates, I'm worried Google could still find any number of reasons to shut me down.
My sites are somewhat controversial, but I've seen Adsense ads on sites way more controversial, including ads on a site that declares the Boston bombings were staged and faked. I couldn't believe ads were on that site, especially since that wasn't the only thing that was incendiary.
I've heard a lot of people are just crushed and wiped out and banned for no reason when that first payment goes through.
I wonder if a real person at Google reviews everything before the first payment goes out for any account, goes through with a fine toothed comb and just picks at any little thing they can find? I wouldn't be surprised.
I'll find out in June, I suppose. I'm expecting the worst, based on what I've heard from so many people.
If you've read this far, any advice on how to brush up and clean up any holes or possible disqualifiers would be appreciated.
