Aha...gotcha, when Google.co.uk started demoting my .com I uploaded a duplicate site to the .co.uk and quite a few pages are ranking quite well now.

I've tried both the native browser and Opera Mini and neither show ads. There must be a blocker somewhere, I'll have to keep looking.
