This is a real problem for the hundreds of publishers who live in Venezuela.
They courier me a cheque each month because there is no mail system which is costly for them.
I then have to send it by courier to my account in the USA because I can't cash it here due to exchange controls - again a costly process.
I've asked them on numerous occasions just to deposit it directly to my US account but this is apparently not an available option.
I have a PayPal account & they have no problem depositing directly to my US account.
Google doesn't have any hesitation to accept payment for my AdWords campaigns with my USA debit card.
It would seem to me a simple vetting process would eliminate any proof problems of residence - copy of passport, utility bills, etc. to prove residence. It would just take 1 Google executive to correct this problem which is costing them needless thousands each month. I now understand that Argentina has similar problems.
Maybe someone at Google will read this & take some action.
