I have 7 sites. 6 are updated regularly and earning quite well. Only one site is updated once a month and earn a measly $20 a day. That's not real money. Instead I focus on sites that generate at least $100 a day. That's just me. I'm aggressive and always think ahead of the game.

The reason for my success could be networking and marketing. When big sites link to your sites and companies want to have their work featured on your site then you have come a long way.

@huskypup Thanks for the sound advice. I did just that 5 years ago. I saved a lot and bought a $250k house which was very affordable back then and now my property value has more than doubled in my area in Montreal. It has become the greatest investment I've ever made. When my business was hit really bad 2 years ago, I borrowed from my equity and continued to rebuild my site and create many more.

I think most left Adsense and go back to their 9/5 jobs is because they didnt have savings. Its different in my case, my home equity saved my business. Though I'm now almost mortgage free, I'm still careful, I still save the extra money.

Perhaps most happy high earning publishers don't spend that much time in this forum so u don't read their positive experience. I refuse to believe that there are only a few of us out there.

I owe my great life - house, car, lots of family time - to Google. And I will continue to post my positive experience here to balance out the negative.
