I'm not sure if I would do that.
It might actually cause Google to have an issue with the history that your site has built up--and they may have to recrawl those pages, which would require them to figure out, again, what each page is about.
That may or may not be a good thing, as they would then re-target each page again with different ads. That may or may not boost your AdSense revenue.
I would be that you wouldn't need to do "reboot".
