I recently opened two new AdSense accounts because I split my existing company into two new entities.
After placing new ad code on my websites, I noticed that my overall eCPM dropped from $2.60 to $1.25.
With roughly 700,000 pageviews per day, my overall daily revenue has decreased by almost $1000. (So this is definitely outside of normal fluctuations.)
I checked all stats, and noticed that the new accounts aren't showing any impressions for third party networks. (They are enabled in the account.)
So I'm assuming that's one of the reasons for lower eCPM.
(In addition to somewhat mismatched ads and loss of placement targeting by existing advertisers.)
Does anyone know how much time it generally takes for new accounts to get propagated through the system and start running at their full potential?
One thing I noticed is that Ad Planner's site profile still shows my old targettable AdSense channels -- from my old account.
Not sure if/when this will get updated to new channels in the new accounts.
