I currently use 24/7, ValueClick and Lejit in addition to Adsense. I have tried SAY, Adify, BURST and Bootcamp Media in the past.
For my niche, Adsense works best hands down, but ValueClick, when they get a advertiser who really wants to be on my site, does almost as well. The thing I don't like about ValueClick is they let alot of crappy ads in, so I am constantly weeding them out. 24/7 is nice too, but only does North American traffic. Lejit seems good so far.
BUSRT paid next to nothing, so I left that test quickly. I LOVED Adify (pay was awesome), but they operate through resellers of a sort and the reseller I was with left them for SAY and I can't find a new reseller with them that is interested in my kind of site. SAY was only so-so on pay and the code was a real bog down on the site. Bootcamp just did not have their stuff together.
At this point, I am looking at bringing advertising inhouse, as soon as I get the time to tinker with a system to do that. I would like to reduce my dependance on 3rd parties for ads. Oddly enough, not for more money, but for the same money with less ads. I swear it seems the ad codes from all 3rd parties get slower and slower all the time.
