Blocked it too.

1) Google+ is still invite only
2) Google+ is not present in Germany
3) Google+ is still much to small
4) Google +1 is still very unknown to my users

"liking" Ads does work, you can see that on facebook.
But until Google+ is an open network that is used as much as facebook I am not very interested in +1 on Ads
