Well I have long post from last year that's still here somewhere about that. I kept putting it off because I thought it would be too much of a PITA to make a mobile site, but then the light bulb went on over my head (or I came to my senses) and I realized I didn't have to put EVERYTHING in mobile, I could just put the most important stuff (like search) and see how it went. That's what gave me the info I needed to proceed.
