Not really. I see a handful of these refreshes a day despite that fact that IE 8 os used by least 20% of all visitors. The only time I saw real poblems was when I added the new "Send" button. That affected several browsers and a large number of total impressions. I yanked it right away.

The Like button problem hasn't hit me much because I went with the iframe version for a short term solution.
