I noticed this a few days ago when impressions sky-rocketed. I wasn't quite sure what the problem was and just added deny from to my httpd.conf. I've now coded in showing fb like buttons based on browser.

Are you sure this was only from MSIE 8? The problem I saw was only MSIE 6.0. What about 7.0?
