I wonder if it would be possible for webmasters contribute collectively (and gradually) changing the search behaviour of millions of their visitors [internet searchers] en-mass? Not likely.

A cute trick would be for webmasters everywhere to redirect all incoming searches from Google directly to the same search for Bing, plus put Bing search all over your sites instead of AdSense Search.

That'll never happen, people are too greedy to give up those pennies per click.
