I'd just like to say thank you to Google and Adsense. It is easy to complain, and believe me I do, when Adsense doesn't behave just as I want it to, but overall, it has changed my life.

After being laid off, I got online in 1999, and there weren't a lot of ways for small, novice publishers to make money (I could barely turn on a PC when I started). Then a few years later Adsense came along, and I started a new website and put this new code on it. The first month I literally made pennies. Months and years of hard work, sacrifice and sheer determination followed, and there were more times than I can count when all I wanted to do was throw the *&#%@ computer out the window and go get a job.

Today, I earn hundreds per day, and I am running my own show. Adsense has given me money and freedom. I have built something. I have created something. And I earn enough now that I can invest in other things so I am not entirely dependent on Adsense.

But if it weren't for Adsense, I would probably be one of those people just scraping by. Instead I am doing well. So to anyone struggling right now, I say don't give up! Keep at it. It WILL pay off.

So thank you, Adsense. I appreciate you very much (even if I do complain occasionally).
