I cringe whenever I read advice like that. For a lot of people, that leads to copyright theft to get some content on the topic that is not of interest. And then to the AdSense account being banned. And then to zero AdSense income per 10,000 impressions.

It's like an attorney who maybe should not be an attorney being advised to become an ambulance chaser, to file frivilous lawsuits, etc. or other such methods of making money. Doesn't help the reputation of the profession at all. And leads to more regulations and rules for everyone.
