Since the weekend of 10/11th July my weekend earnings have been 100.92% of my daily average.
I'm puzzled since Page Impression numbers are at their historical average of 70-80% of the overall daily average.
For example my EPC average this weekend compared with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was +29.85%, obviously this means my eCPM looks fantastic compared to normal.
I noticed earlier this year that some weekends were earning more however this is now five consecutive weekends of good earnings.
Basically two questions:
1. Has anyone else seen this difference, or a noticeable change, during 2010?
2. Are advertisers actually paying more for weekend slots believing (my theory) that retail economies are getting back on track and users are doing this over a weekend and not from work?
