These things do happen. My AdSense payment was delayed one month a year ago due to a merge of two banks in my country which caused the bank name to be changed. Account numbers and account holder information all stayed the same. Although AdSense could have figured this out themselves, they asked to reconfirm the EFT bank account details in the AdSense system after they had put the payments on hold. Many AdSense account holders must have been affected by this change because it was a merge of two of the largest banks in the country.

These kind of things happen. And the good thing with AdSense compared to other on-line ad programs is that their regular payments are so fast, that even with a month delay the money arrives often faster than with other ad programs.
