I have been doing ok with Google Adsense. Not as great as 2008 but it's not all that bad.

I've been testing out Chitika and the actual ad blocks don't perform well, but "Chitika Linx" is doing great on two of my sites.

I'm hoping that Adsense will send out pay before Christmas like they did last year, it would be great for publishers if they did.
