Not too long, intuitive and keyword rich. Somewhere, long ago, on this site I read about structuring a site like a pyramid. (That one should be linked to here as well.) The pyramid approach can give structure to the site, the navigation and the URI's all at the same time. Also, one of my favorites - [webmasterworld.com...] (and related, this - [webmasterworld.com...] ) A brandable domain, vs. keyword stuffed, is different than a logical file structure using keywords.
