I know checks are somewhat safe against pilferage (not fully specially when huge amounts are involved) but I think the idea of making the payment amount and full details clearly visible from outside is a very very bad idea.

Google ASA, please pass on this feedback to your check dispatch team.

The solution is just to send it folded as before.

Why do you need to send such a big sized package?
What value do you get from showing the amount?
Please stop this practice henceforth.
