We noticed testing of third-party ads weeks ago when one ad caused pages to hang during loading. We ran an analysis of all the files the page was calling and tracked the problem to a third-party stats company URL. The problem was corrected quickly and there have been no repeat issues.

I expect that this will further enhance Google's ability to attract mainstream advertisers and to provide more complete site representation services.
