OK, now that January is over, we can begin to talk sensibly about the month.

Having been hit by the October Glitch and with a disastrous December I really did not expect to be displaying AdSense much longer however seeing a definite improvement in early January I have let it ride consequently:

January Month's earnings 2008 v 2007 -24.15%
January Month's earnings 2008 v 2006 -30.67%
January Month's earnings 2007 v 2006 -8.41%

However the biggest January 08 improvement has been the monthly earnings:

November 07 v 2007 Average to October Glitch -39.03%
December 07 v November 07 -22.04%
January 08 v December 07 +52.49%

January 08 v Pre October Glitch -27.51%

Interestingly the first 3 full days of February have shown yet another improvement with CTR and eCPM heading back towards pre-Glitch metrics.

Moreover throughout all of this my average EPC, even though it virtually collapsed post-Glitch, has remained within 20% over the past 3 years but what is noticeable is that my AdLinks EPC is 66% that of my Leaderboard ads which is a big turn around since they used to be virtually equal.

The next 4 months are traditionally my busiest therefore, barring any more Glitches(!), my current trend appears to be positive...oh why did I write that? :-)))
