My prediction for 2008 is that the US$ will continue to slide against most currnecies but the GBP will plummet even more. I'm not going to bet on it, that's a mug's game. But UK interest rates are set to fall (ex-Northern Rock), job prospects will become depressing and Gordon Brown is no Prime Minister. He's leading us right off the edge of the White Cliffs of Dover. Sounds good to me if the USD / GBP exhange rate makes the GBP worth less!
