Whether editing ad colours is against the TOS is irrelevant. The issue here is that Adsense has brought in a change which affects everyone. In my case I find the new system a pain and it screws up my whole way of working.

There is a whole thread about Google's poor communication, and this is another example. No published schedule, the change just happens. And when I try to find out more I'm redirected to blogger. Hardly professional.
