It's silly to argue that Google is taking more when the earnings reports show otherwise. Again, as I point out every quarter, no one knows exactly what percentage any individual publisher gets (except for Google). It stands to reason that it will be less for some than for others, in the same way that authors' royalties vary and commissioned salespeople get different amounts based on their performance, experience, or clout. We know only that (a) Google is paying out about the same amount every quarter, (b) not all publishers are seeing a drop in earnings, and (c) your personal mileage may vary.
