I wish some people would write what they actually believe, rather than writing what they think Google wants them to say.
Why would I care what Google "wants" me to say. I don't work for them. I've been critical of Google on previous threads.
I guess I can sympathise that ecommerce webmasters have a unique problem in that content is not their stock in trade, but they need to have content to get Google love.
There are two solutions: become a content site, or advertise.
My SERPS (as a user) are cluttered with enough duplicate content as it is.
