If 20 advertisers pay .50 a click you have $10.00.
If 40 advertisers pay .40 a click you have $16.00.
Huh? Where did you get the idea that having more advertisers means getting more clicks? If you're getting 100 clicks/day with 20 advertisers, you're probably still going to get 100 clicks/day if there are 40 advertisers. The difference is that those 100 clicks/day means your daily revenue will drop from $50/day to $40/day (with the example numbers given).
