That goal (doubling in 18 months) is way too easy. I've been doubling every few months. My next goal would be something like increase revenue by 10x in the next 3 years.

Then you'll have to lower your growth ratio.
If you double your revenue every six months, after three years you'll be running 64x the current revenue.
