I run a music site that now averages around a half million visits per month. A Google rep asked me if I would be interested in the video ads, I asked for more details and was given some specifics.
revenue is generated on a CPM basis by the number of views on each ad within a video playlist. You'll receive earnings each time a user views an ad in between the video clips. Additionally, please note that the embedded video player is not considered a standard AdSense unit and can therefore be added to your page in addition to your existing ad units. The revenue that you'll earn will be incremental to your current AdSense earnings.
They're still being kind of vague about the amounts that can be earned. I suppose I'll try it for a week as a supplement to my regular ads and see how they perform, I'll let everyone here know what the general results are.
