I think between the "Big Daddy" diaster with Google deindexing many white hat sites and then the click fraud lawsuits many advertisers have backed off. Less advertisers means less eCPM and that means the cost of a click has gone down. It is a lose - lose for the publisher and Google. I hope Google gets "Big Daddy" fixed and finds better ways to stop click fraud.
