We've heard this kind of remark almost since the day AdSense was launched, and guess what: The payout percentage to publishers is almost exactly the same from one quarter to the next. To use your words, "Do the math," using the numbers in Google's quarterly earnings reports.

I don't expect Google reps to agree with me ;)

* So many webmasters with noticeably reduced earnings Ecpm etc.
* So many ads with MFA garbage
* No proper option for webmasters to set minimum click payout or stop CPM ads from displaying
* Questionable “smart pricing” policy with no proper explanation as to what really happens to smart pricing when your site is flooded with MFA ads that don’t convert.
* Laughable payouts on search clicks
* Laughable click payouts after each CP “maintenance”
* Channels data that often don’t add up

* One cheerleader, consistently insisting that nothing has changed since adsense has started.... Give me a break.

using the numbers in Google's quarterly earnings reports.

Yea, Enron had some great carefully crafted numbers on their reports too.
