The best was at a bar one night with some friends who also do this kinda stuff. Some old man (80+ years old) in a ridiculously huge cowboy hat over-hears us. He comes over and says he heard us talking about "that internet." Then he tells us he has a website too! And hands us a business card, printed poorly on an inkjet that says "Owen your own website!".

Yes, the "owen" was on the card. Along with a couple other type-os I can't remember. Poor guy had been suckered into some scam (pay us to make you a website where you'll make millions!).

Far too many people hear about affiliate marketing and just think you sign up and money comes out of your computer like an ATM.

Few realize we really do have to work...sometimes...maybe.
