The links still appear even though I opted-out by unchecking the box so I assume the program must not run in real-time for some odd reason.

It seems so much of the G policies are shrouded in mystery and G wants to keep things secret.

Just a little hint that might speed things up... if there is a way to delete the logo for your site that you put on the landing page, delete the logo and this might speed up them dropping you from the service.

I noticed that when I opted in to the service the link on the ads would not show up until I uploaded the logo for the landing page.
