I find it hard to believe that getting more ads to compete for the same ad space should cause a lowering of earnings. My advice would be to consider other reasons for the earning decline. Well-paying campaigns stopping? One or more advertizers for your keywords going to YPN or other? It's hard to make such calls when you can't do it in an "all else equal" environment.
