Nope it will not. I think that the only thing that helps getting new sites or even new content crawled is getting linked from a page with decent PR.

Lately I have noticed that it takes about 10 days to three weeks to see new pages reflecting any kind of PR or showing in the index if I link them from my main page. This is with a PR5 mainpage not sure how a higher PR page would work.

However, those same pages are crawled by adsense pretty quick and showing targeted ads in a couple of hours.
