i posted a long message about oscommerce sometime last year listing several problems. one major problem with it is that it cannot be fully spidered by search engines because it uses session IDs in the URL. people like oscommerce because it's free, but it's no good if you lose visitors because your site isn't listed in the search engines .... you'll be better off paying for actinic - the extra traffic you gain will moer than cover the costs of actinic.
